Ahh yes, a far better answer is for the record companies to obtain
those original masters (many which have proved to still exist) and get
them out there for purchase. We have JT Aqualung, PF WYWH, DSOTM,
Steve Miller Fly Like an Eagle, Paul Mccartney Venus and Mars, Chicago
II, Ect… all of these still existing analog four channel masters
used for special edition releases. I am sure some others exists in
vaults from the CD-4 era (Warner Elektra was an awfully big company
and still is) and all we need to do is get the word out there is a
demand!

Would be very interested to hear more about this. I know someone who is in semi-regular contact with their camp, and feel like he would have heard rumblings about new mixes and all that.
